1978 SQ-10 step sequencer was presented along with the classic MS-20 analogue synthesizer. After 30 years, both return in updated form as Korg SQ-1 and MS-20 mini.
The Korg SQ-1 is a compact step sequencer with 2 x 8 Steps. Thanks to its wealth of connections you can connect it not only with the MS-20, but a variety of other synthesizers. Thus control, with a single device both vintage analog synths and modern Compact synths. One can switch between different synthesizer modes and create spontaneous performances like the instruments of the Volca series with the Step buttons.

The Japanese company Korg INC is one of the most renowned manufacturers of our time when it comes to electronic musical instruments and accessories. Among musicians the company is often simply referred to as Korg. The company was founded on 28 August 1963 by Tsutomu Kato and Tadashi Osanai.
