The monologue is a standalone synth with a distinctive sound, new voicing and creative sound design. Filter, modulation, drive and LFO have been redeveloped and can produce punchy basses and outstanding lead tones or other fantastic mono sounds that demonstrate all the strengths of its single-voice architecture. The step sequencer has also been significantly expanded and can now be edited more intuitively and with greater depth. A compact yet complex instrument whose strong personality is impressively emphasised by vivid colour variations.

The Japanese company Korg INC is one of the most renowned manufacturers of our time when it comes to electronic musical instruments and accessories. Among musicians the company is often simply referred to as Korg. The company was founded on 28 August 1963 by Tsutomu Kato and Tadashi Osanai. The nearly 300 employees at Korg INC are mainly engaged in the manufacture and marketing of synthesizers and samplers, drum machines and sound modules, keyboards and electric pianos, but also USB controllers, electronic drums as well as handy little helpers for guitarists.
