If you are looking for a good-sounding, affordable guitar amp, you should have a look at the Kong SolidThirty – a 30-watt transistor amp with two channels and reverb. The SolidThirty is suitable for practicing at home, but delivers enough sound pressure to keep up with a loud drummer in a rehearsal room. An optional footswitch can be used to switch the amp's channels. It also features a headphone jack and a mini-jack line in for playing MP3s or play-alongs.
