The Kloppmann ST60 set is the perfect all-rounder set and a tribute to the great pickups, which can be found on the famous Strats with rosewood Fretboards from the early 60s. With the ST60 you are prepared for any style of music! Whether you like the '60s Strat sound of Hank Marvin, Rory Gallagher, Mark Knopfler or SRV. The ST60 Set delivers! It is always defined and offers the best string separation, even with much compression and Gain. The famous Fender twang is of course also there, and the pickups have sufficient height to enforce - but sound nice while never flashy or cutting!

Each ST or TL set comes with a matching capacitor and about 35cm "7 stranded wire cloth" for the internal wiring.
Kloppmann pickups - have their price and they are worth it as well
Andreas Kloppmann has worked for years to achieve his good name. Since mid-1980 he has collected and archived data of pickups. Many findings were won through measuring but also unwinding defective pick ups to see how much of what was wound where.
Each Kloppmann pickup is hand wound individually in a winding machine from the 1960s and the wire is guided by hand. The number of turns is counted mechanically. Based on years of experience, important sonic parameters can be determined during the winding process.
Using a comprehensive database - full of the frequency response curves of different pickups - different products are manufactured and their characteristics compared with those of their counterparts. According to the measured data and the frequency response curve the intended destination of the pickup is then assigned. (Neck, middle, bridge, hot, vintage or similar) Every pickup gets a production number and their individual data is stored. With this method, there is always the possibility of becoming an identical product from the production line.
And for those who do not believe in measuring results and frequency curves: Andreas Kloppmann has been an active musician for more than 25 years (guitarist, of course), connoisseur of vintage instruments and controls his products, of course, by ear.

Wollte eigentlich die Rwrp-Variante (das macht klanglich immer nen Unterschied) bestellen aber die waren leider nicht direkt lieferbar. Der Sound erinnert klar ans Vorbild, braucht den Vergleich mit Vintagepickups nicht scheuen meiner Meinung nach. Diie Pickups haben eine gute Spieldynamik, matschen nicht und haben keine aufdringlichen Frequenzen sondern sind schön ausgeglichen. Habe sie mit Mapleneck und Rosewoodgriffbrett ausprobiert und sind tatsächlich ein Allrounder, beim Palisandergriffbrett sind sie natürlich noch eher Zuhause, da gibts am meisten glitzernde Höhen. Was mir bei Kloppmann nicht gefällt ist die Verpackung, etwas klein und lieblos, die Pickups sind dicht aneinandergequetscht. Auch aufs Aging der Magneten und Schrauben könnte ich eigentlich verzichten, Geschmackssache.
