The Keeley Hydra effects pedal combines high-fidelity reverb and tremolo effects to give guitar, bass or keyboard signals more space and depth. After developing the Eccos, Robert Keeley's team set out to create the perfect accompaniment pedal — and with the Hydra they succeeded! The pedal offers three selectable reverb modes (Spring, Plate or Room) and can be easily expanded via the second footswitch into a Harmonic, Vibrato or Sine Tremolo section with tap tempo. The controls are dual-function via an Alt function and, in addition to full control over the effect parameters, also provide the ability to change the order of effects or create Infinite Hold reverb trails. For maximum versatility there are three preset slots. The Hydra integrates into any conceivable setup or switching system and offers a TRS expression pedal input, remote tap tempo control and true stereo inputs and outputs. The Hydra is the perfect pedal for the end of the signal chain and its extremely versatile sounds can be used in any genre.
