Kawai CX102 W
Product information "Kawai CX102 W"
The CX102 is the entry point to Kawai's new CX series of affordable digital pianos, combining authentic touch and tone with modern features to support musical progress at every stage.
It features Kawai's latest Responsive Hammer Lite action with fully graded keys that encourage the development of finger strength and proper technique. This keyboard also incorporates advanced hammer sensing and important damping technologies used in Kawai's CN series, providing responsive control and quiet operation – ideal for focused practice at home.
The action is paired with the beautiful, expressive tone of the Shigeru Kawai SK-EX concert grand, faithfully rendered using Kawai's Harmonic Imaging sound technology. This technology allows for smooth tonal transitions from pianissimo to fortissimo and supports the development of expressiveness and dynamic control.
Alongside the acoustic grand piano tones, the CX102 offers a variety of electric pianos, organs, strings and other instruments – including dual and split modes for added playing fun and creative possibilities.
The stereo speaker system with 22 watts of power delivers impressive volume, clarity and warmth, providing both players and listeners with a pleasant sonic experience.
In addition, the CX102 includes a selection of helpful features to support pianists' development: built-in Bluetooth® MIDI and USB-MIDI connectivity make it easy to connect with apps such as Skoove, Tomplay or Kawai's PiaBookPlayer, promoting interactive, motivating practice. The PianoRemote app, paired via Bluetooth, also simplifies operation of the instrument.
Two headphone jacks allow quiet playing at any time – ideal for households where others are working or relaxing. A built-in metronome helps develop rhythmic skills, while the integrated recorder lets you play back your own recordings for review. The lesson function contains built-in pieces from well-known piano method books and offers valuable support for independent learning.
The compact, understated cabinet of the CX102 fits harmoniously into any living space. The instrument is available in Satin Black or Satin White, each with a folding music rest, sliding key cover and sturdy feet for added stability.
With its reliable performance, thoughtful features and elegant design, the CX102 is an excellent choice for aspiring pianists seeking a high-quality digital piano for their home.
