JHS Pedals Pulp´N Peel V4
Product information "JHS Pedals Pulp´N Peel V4"
Compression may be the effect that makes the difference between an outstanding, professional sound and, well, everything else. Many players find this "studio quality" in their rig if they try a good compressor for the first time. The JHS Pulp 'N' Peel Compressor is such a device. Like many other compressors the Pulp 'N' Peel is based on the design of a classic red Compressor from the 1970s, without, however, incorporating their lack of highs, clarity and definition ... JHS developes its effects cosequently further and the current JHS Pulp'N Peel V4 version has been heavily tuned. the input section has an expanded Clean headroom, so the pedal can also be used as a high-quality booster. The range of the Dirt switch (parallel overdrive circuit) can be preset with a trim potentiometer, the internal buffer can be switched off in order to obtain a true bypass. Also new is the Tone Poti, where the basic sound of the compressor can be influenced. In addition to jack Output there is a parallel XLR output with ground lift circuit available for connecting to a mixer or audio interface for direct control.

The story of JHS Pedals began in 2007 at the desk of Joshua Heath Scott, known as Josh, who wanted to repair his Blues Driver pedal. He then developed an interest in effects pedals and their circuits, repaired and modified his friends' stompboxes and eventually began selling modified Boss pedals under the name JHS Mods in a local music shop. A year later he started selling his own pedal creations and renamed the brand JHS Pedals.
The name JHS Pedals still stands for high quality, inventiveness and distinctive designs. Josh Scott has since assembled a large team of pedal enthusiasts who share his passion for effects and assist him in building and designing his pedals. As a result, new additions appear regularly in the already extensive JHS Pedals range. Among the brand's best-known representatives are the Morning Glory overdrive, the Muffuletta fuzz and the pedals of the 3 Series.
