The Ibanez "Zackenbarsch" XPTB is back — in a revised form — and it's clear where this is heading: metal is on the menu. The XPT420DX-RGC is an extravagant metal guitar in a cool Rose Gold Chameleon Flip Flop finish that changes colour depending on the angle of the light. The 5-piece maple/walnut/rosewood neck runs through the Okoume body. On board is the Ibanez Edge-Zero II locking tremolo — the logical evolution of the legendary Edge tremolo. The electronics also use only top components: two Quantum Aggregate pickups deliver plenty of punch and pronounced attack.
