In collaboration with "Thundercat" Stephen Lee Bruner, Ibanez has developed the unusual Signature Prestige TCB1006-ALM. The semi-hollow body consists of a flamed maple back and sides and a quilted maple top. The 5-piece maple/purpleheart neck is glued in. The Thundercat bass also packs a punch in terms of hardware and electronics: passive EMG soapbar humbuckers with mid/dark EQ switch, Hipshot bridge with GraphTech Ghost MIDI/piezo system, and Hipshot Ultralite tuners.
