The 4-string Ibanez SR300 Soundgear electric bass guitar offers great flexibility and affordability. The basic Ibanez Soundgear philosophy has not changed since 1987 : a bass for players who want a thin, fast neck, and the ability to dial in any tone for any genre-from complex electric jazz to raging metal. The Ibanez Soundgear SR300-IPT has an agathis body, slim and fast SR maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard and 24 medium frets. The B100 adjustable bridge with 18mm string spacing keeps the tuning stable. The Ibanez SR300 also features Ibanez EXF passive cobalt magnet humbucking pickups and onboard 3-band active eq with a useful Style Sweeper control. The Style Sweeper not only provides a variety in tone, but also practically controls the mid range for finger or slap, according to your playing style. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo al momento dell'acquisto (€. 307,00), ora aumentato ad €. 343,00. Bella la rifinitura Black MAT, che aiuta gli spostamenti del braccio evitando alla pelle di appiccicarsi sopra !! Scorrevolissimo il manico in acero. Il basso, una volta accordato, difficilmente perde l'accordatura. Elettronica di pre-amplificazione con regolazione precisa e scatto che indica il punto di metà corsa. Batteria ricaricabile (inclusa) esaurita e da buttare via dopo neppure un mese... Probabilmente il basso era in stock da un po' di tempo dal grossista o dalla casa madre (non era disponibile al momento dell'acquisto, lo hanno ritirato apposta per me). Imballo più che adeguato, tenendo conto della spedizione dall'estero. Ottima comunicazione con il negozio, che mi ha accordato uno sconto (successivo all'acquisto), per aver trovato un "Prezzo più basso altrove".
