Ibanez Soundgear Prestige SR4505-DST
Product information "Ibanez Soundgear Prestige SR4505-DST"
Ibanez's Soundgear Prestige series is a range of high-quality SR basses made in Japan. The SR4505-DST is impressive both visually and technically: solid ash body, oiled S-Tech maple/walnut neck with rosewood fingerboard, solid MR5S bridge, and a set of Nordstand Big Single pickups with wooden caps, which, together with the Ibanez Sonitech preamp, enable a wide range of powerful bass sounds. The mid frequencies are switchable, and the EQ can be deactivated via a push/pull pot.

The Japanese instrument maker Ibanez can look back on a long tradition in guitar and bass construction. Although Ibanez initially made a name for itself with idiosyncratic copies of traditional models from makers like Gibson and Fender, its own series gradually emerged, such as the Iceman, JEM, Artcore and RG. In the 1980s the company became particularly well known in the heavy sector with instruments that stood out for their modern features, distinctive design and excellent playability. Innovations such as 7- and 8-string guitars, born from fruitful collaborations with artists like Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and Meshuggah, further helped to establish Ibanez's strong reputation. Today the manufacturer offers an extensive range, from entry-level guitars and basses to exotic Custom Shop models. In addition, Ibanez also impresses in the field of effects and amplifiers, as the classic TS9 Tubescreamer proves. Here you'll find a comprehensive selection of guitars, basses, amplifiers, effects and accessories from Ibanez.
