The Iceman was one of the coolest Ibanez guitar designs of the 70s – which is why Paul Stanley chose this model back then. Meanwhile, there are various Paul Stanley signature models. The PS60-SSL is the most affordable Paul Stanley model in the Ibanez program. The body is made of poplar, the maple/pine neck is bolt-on. Like the more expensive models, the PS60-BK is equipped with the iconic mirror pickguard and the typical tailpiece. A pair of Ibanez Infinity R pickups ensures the correct sound. A gig bag is included.

Ich habe die Gitarre als Geburtstags Geschenk für meinen Band Kollegen gekauft.Ich hab sie einmal angeschlossen und gespielt, das Griffbrett ist butterweich und alles funktionierte. Soweit bin ich zufrieden
Super Gitarre. Habe sehr grosse freude daran...
Die Verarbeitung ist für den Preis OK. Die Pickups sind ganz ordentlich, wenn auch nicht wirklich hochwertig, brauchbar für den Anfang, aber auf Dauer sicher ein Austauschkandidat. Die Lackierung weicht leider erheblich von den Produktabbildungen, die man überall im Internet findet, ab. Definitiv nicht "Silver Sparkle", eher "Green/Gold Sparkle". Hätte ich das vorher gewusst, hätte ich das schwarze Modell genommen, aber ich wollte einfach ein bisschen mehr Glamour in meinem Leben... Die Tuner verrichten ihren Dienst, sind aber nicht richtig stimmstabil. Sind auf Dauer auch ein Austauschkandidat. Das Setup war im Auslieferungszustand hingegen ziemlich gut. Das mitgelieferte "Gigbag" ist eher ein Witz, dünn und keinen Schutz bietend, hätte man genauso gut weglassen können.
Geliefert wird das Instrument in einem Gigbag, in dem sich neben einem Inbusschlüssel für die Halsjustierung auch eine dicke Bedienungsanleitung im Taschenbuch-Format befindet. Auch was die Einstell-arbeiten anbetrifft, gibt es nichts zu meckern, alle Saiten schwingen lang und gleichmäßig aus, lassen sich darüber hinaus über das gesamte Griffbrett hinweg gut bespielen. Die Paul Stanley kam aber schon ab Werk Traumhaft eingestellt. Kein weiteres nacharbeiten nötig, Gitarre gestimmt und angeschlossen. Und dann...... WOW, was da rauskam hat mich umgehauen !!! Denn sie liefert in allen drei Positionen vollwertige und sehr gut klingende Sounds ob Clean oder verzehrt egal, zu dem Preis einfach nur TOP Die Verarbeitung ist sehr sehr gut und sie glitzert soooo schön. Bin mit der Gitarre mehr als zufrieden. Geliefert wurde sie sehr schnell. Danke an Musik Produktiv !
