I waited almost two months for this bass after ordering and paying for it. That's a problem in itself. But that's far from the worst of it. When I received it, I was incredibly disappointed. It was packaged in a basic cardboard box that looked like it belonged to a €50 guitar from Amazon. The instrument was dirty, with greasy fingerprints in several places. The knobs weren't the same gold color as the rest of the hardware. They looked cheap, and I had to replace them. There was a lot of dust and grit trapped in the paint, even some black specks in the white. There were deep sanding marks in several places, under the paint, so they were impossible to fix. There were two chips in the fretboard. The paint had run and hadn't been cleaned in the truss rod hole. The frets were sticking out and cutting. For nearly 1000 euros, this instrument has a deplorable and scandalous build quality. Harley Benton finishes their instruments better. I spent several hours adjusting and cleaning it. I'm going to keep it because it sounds pretty good. But never again Ibanez.
