Product information "Ibanez AUP10FMNE-TBO Transparent Blue Sunburst Open Pore"
The AU series is characterised by a very special construction. Instead of, as with most ukuleles, being made from three separate parts (top, sides and back), the AU body is first routed from a solid block of wood so that back and sides are one piece. The top is then added to complete the body. This construction gives the instruments a unique sound and excellent playability. In addition, they feature special elements such as a stereo sound port, a raised comfort armrest and an edge-less comfort neck joint.
The AUP10FMNE comes with an Okoumé neck, a Purpleheart fretboard, a flamed maple top and solid Paulownia sides & back. The piccolo guitar is also equipped with an Ibanez undersaddle pickup, an Ibanez AEQ-2U preamp with built-in tuner and a Purpleheart double-hole bridge.

The Japanese instrument maker Ibanez can look back on a long tradition in guitar and bass construction. Although Ibanez initially made a name for itself with idiosyncratic copies of traditional models from makers like Gibson and Fender, its own series gradually emerged, such as the Iceman, JEM, Artcore and RG. In the 1980s the company became particularly well known in the heavy sector with instruments that stood out for their modern features, distinctive design and excellent playability. Innovations such as 7- and 8-string guitars, born from fruitful collaborations with artists like Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and Meshuggah, further helped to establish Ibanez's strong reputation. Today the manufacturer offers an extensive range, from entry-level guitars and basses to exotic Custom Shop models. In addition, Ibanez also impresses in the field of effects and amplifiers, as the classic TS9 Tubescreamer proves. Here you'll find a comprehensive selection of guitars, basses, amplifiers, effects and accessories from Ibanez.
