The AM was first introduced by Ibanez in the early '80s. Although it is smaller than other semi-hollow bodies, this guitar offers a warm, punchy tone and plenty of sustain. It also has the added benefit of being so compact that players who are more accustomed to solid-body electric guitars will feel at home on this popular Artcore model.
The parallel development of jazz music and the hollowbody electric guitar are inseparably linked and manifest in the high-class Artstar series. The AMH100FM comes with a three-piece Nyatoh/maple neck, a Macassar ebony fretboard, a flamed maple top and maple back & sides. The guitar is also fitted with Super 58 pickups, a Gibraltar Artist bridge and a VT06 tailpiece.
