The B9 is a small, handy kalimba with a sound block made of solid American cherry. It is the "sister" of the B7 model. This is an "electrified" version B9 Elektro with a built-in pickup and a connection socket (6.3 mm jack). It is recommended to use a cable with an angled plug (not included! )
Although the two instruments have the same dimensions, they differ in sound, tuning and the number and width of the reeds. The vibrations of the nine reeds on this model can be easily felt in the hands and the subtle sound of the instrument is clearly audible without being amplified. The volume of the instrument can also be amplified considerably by placing it on a suitable surface, such as a table top or the skin of a drum. The tuning of the Kalimba B9 is identical to that of our Sansula models. It is an A minor sound with an additional B and F. As all the notes always match, even beginners will have a successful playing experience right from the start.
