HMS-LB - Heritage musical spoon - Model Large Black Heritage spoons have been handmade in Canada since 1997. The large model (also known as "Boite-a-Bois") produces a beautiful deep tone. The spoon is carved from premium Canadian maple wood. The flat bottom cavity produces a rich tone that echoes with a gentle striking motion. It is unique yet easy to master, and there is a wide range of styles and techniques to explore. (see video) The special shape of this model allows for faster beats and quick changes between different pitches and volumes.
