Ritchie Blackmore is known for his exceptional guitar sound. In the early 70s he was looking for ways to get an assertive distorting sound out of his 200 watt Marshall. From 1974 there was an Aiwa TP1011 tape machine on his amps, with which he had driven the amps powerfully. Guitarslinger has now packed this magical circuit in a practical floor pedal. The RB 1011 Silver Edition MKII Booster corresponds to the Aiwa pre-stage: Class A FET preamp, selected components and 100% handmade. The booster can be easily controlled using the guitar's volume potentiometer, even in the FX loop of an amp, the RB1011 cuts a fine figure as a solo booster or buffer preamp.
