Genelec at session – Hear what’s really in the signal
Genelec is one of those brands you hear once – and then immediately understand why their speakers sit in so many studios worldwide. Since 1978 the Finnish manufacturer has developed and produced active studio monitors and subwoofers that stand for one thing above all: honest, precise listening without flattering the sound. That's exactly the basis for good decisions in recording, mixing and mastering.
What makes Genelec so special is the combination of clever engineering and absolutely reliable practical usability. The active systems are perfectly matched, deliver enormous resolution of detail, a stable stereo image and remain pleasant to listen to even during long sessions. Many models also offer DSP-assisted room adaptation and calibration – super useful when the room isn’t perfect or you want to work flexibly.
In short: Genelec is monitoring you can trust. Whether for a home studio, a professional control room or mobile setups – if you want to know what’s really in the signal, you’re in the right place. And that’s exactly why we at session love to stock Genelec.
