Gamechanger Audio, the specialist for wacky and unusual effects pedals, has introduced a cool further development of the already legendary Plasma Pedal in collaboration with Third Man Records and Jack White from the White Stripes. At the heart of the Plasma Coil pedal is the Xenon tubes used as in the Plasma Pedal, which works with internal high voltage and discharges when no signal is applied, thus creating the characteristic gated fuzz sounds. The Plasma Coil has a 6-position rotary switch on board to activate Octave Up, Octave Down, 2 Octaves Down, High and Down. The footswitch for the special effects section can also be switched to latch mode - it then functions as a momentary button with which specific octave effects can be placed on individual notes or chords. The absolute coolest is the visible xenon tube, which depending on the input signal fires a firework of flashes (no worries - of course, it is inside the tube!!! ) - super cool.
