Gallien Krueger Neo 410-IV / 8 Ohm Cabinet
Product information "Gallien Krueger Neo 410-IV / 8 Ohm Cabinet"
The new NEO series features a lightweight plywood construction with generous bracing, resulting in an extremely stable speaker. The inside of the cabinet is covered with damping material to absorb high frequencies from the rear of the speaker, preventing them from leaking out of the port and interfering with the high frequencies from the front of the speaker. This results in a smooth and pleasant response in the upper range. A metal grille and an extremely robust cabinet coating with metal corners ensure a durable cabinet that can withstand heavy use and retain its good looks over time. The new NEO IV series includes customised neodymium woofers designed and manufactured by GK. Only die-cast frames are used, which offer greater durability and resilience than the cheaper and more common stamped frame designs. The voice coils are made from edge-wound aluminium ribbon wire, making the speaker far more efficient and resilient compared to the more common round wire.
This is the most advanced speaker Gallien-Krueger has ever released. It builds on previous models and ensures that attention has been paid to every detail. GK has custom designed its speakers and cabinets from the ground up to deliver the best possible performance together with the tops for bassists worldwide.

The success story began in 1968 with a self-built amplifier and the then-unknown guitarist Carlos Santana, who took the first Gallien-Krueger amp with him to the Woodstock Festival the following year. To this day company founder and mastermind Robert Gallien has designed and brought to market numerous high-quality, innovative and legendary bass amplifiers. In doing so, however, he never modelled himself on other products or let anything divert him from his vision, but always sought his own, better solutions.
„I have never seen the point in doing things the way others have done them. I also have not been very interested in following the latest fad.“
– Robert Gallien
