Its offset-body shape is finished in an attractive 3-Colour Sunburst, which is particularly highlighted by the high-gloss urethane finish. With its solid-body construction and bolt-on neck, it guarantees you a stable, resonant performance.
Neck and body
The classic alder body is available in timeless Fender finishes as well as in bold, modern colours. The neck of this electric guitar is made from select maple and features a silky satin neck finish that enhances both appearance and playability. The neck sports a maple fretboard and a scale length of 24" (610 mm) for precise intonation and a comfortable feel. Everything about the neck is designed for fast, fluid playability, from the modern "C" profile with a smooth urethane back finish to the comfortable 9.5" fretboard radius with rolled edges and 22 medium-jumbo frets.
Pickups and electronics
With two Fender Player Series Alnico V single-coil Mustang pickups in the neck and bridge positions, the Fender Player II Mustang MN 3CS delivers a classic, expressive tone. The Player Series Alnico V single-coil Mustang pickups offer crystal-clear highs, smooth mids and snappy lows that enhance any genre. With the 3-way toggle you can dial in everything from the clear neck pickup sound to the biting bridge pickup and everything in between.
Bridge and hardware
Equipped with a Fender strings-through-body Strat-style hardtail bridge with bent steel saddles, the Fender Player II Mustang MN 3CS provides perfect string action and excellent vibration transfer. The bridge, bent steel saddles and ClassicGear™ tuners deliver precise tuning stability and give you the flexibility to explore endless tonal possibilities. The chrome hardware completes the guitar's refined look. The guitar ships from the factory with strings in gauge .009 - .042 and will, of course, be perfectly set up for you before shipping.
