Sound and construction
The Fender Player II Jaguar RW 3-Colour Sunburst is a 6-string solid-body model with an offset-style body shape. Made from high-quality alder, this body offers a warm, rich and resonant tone. The classic alder body is available in both timeless Fender finishes and modern colours never seen before. Everything about the neck is geared towards fast, fluid playability, from the modern "C" profile with a silky satin urethane finish on the back to the comfortable 9.5" radius of the rosewood fretboard with rounded edges and 22 medium-jumbo frets. The Fender Player II Jaguar RW therefore makes bending easy and provides a comfortable playing feel.
Electronics and hardware
The two Fender Player Series Alnico V single-coil Jaguar pickups deliver a crystal-clear, dynamic tone. The aged white pickup covers are an eye-catching detail and add a touch of vintage character. The 3-way switch lets you shape every sound, from the bell-clear tone of the neck pickup to the venomous, biting tones of the bridge pickup and everything in between. The 6-saddle Jaguar bridge with floating tremolo, the improved Mustang saddles and the ClassicGear™ tuners provide precise tuning stability and offer the flexibility to explore endless tonal possibilities.
Additionally, the Jaguar ships from the factory with Fender strings in a gauge of .009–.042, giving you a light and comfortable playing feel. A hex key is included so you can set up your guitar optimally at any time. The nickel/chrome hardware completes the overall look perfectly and gives the guitar an elegant appearance.
