Johnny Marr, guitarist of Manchester-based band the Smiths, has an absolute favourite working instrument: his 1965 Fender Jaguar. Fender has now given him an authentic signature model with some cool extras: the Johnny Marr Jaguar limited edition offers an alder body, the maple/rosewood neck is shaped exactly like Johnny Marr's '65 Jaguar neck, and the electrics use a set of custom-wound Kent Armstrong pickups that, together with a 4-way switch and three slide switches, allow various pickup combinations.
