When Fender launched the Telecaster Deluxe in 1972, it was considered the top model in the Telecaster® family. It was the first Fender Tele with a solid body and two humbuckers. The American Vintage II 1975 Telecaster Deluxe picks up on this vibe. It has a large Stratocaster® style headstock, a contoured body and a large pickguard with two wide range humbuckers. Two volume and tone controls are responsible for the tone control, the 3-way toggle for the pickups is located at the top. Even the famous CuNiFe magnets have been revived. They have not actually been produced since 1981, but they are indispensable for the genuine wide range sound of the humbuckers.
