With the American Ultra II Jazz Bass V MN SRD, Fender has a top-of-the-line 5-string jazz bass in its lineup. The Ultra II Jazz Bass combines classic looks with contemporary features. The ergonomically shaped body has deep cutaways so that the high positions can be reached without contortions, the maple/ebony neck is shaped in a modern D profile, and the fingerboard has a comfortable 10" - 14" compound radius. The American Ultra Jazz Bass is also state-of-the-art in terms of electronics: an Ultra Noiseless J/J set, combined with the effective 3-band EQ/preamp and S-1 passive/active circuit, ensures versatile, powerful bass sounds.
