The successful American Pro series is replaced by the revised American Professional II series. Fender's workhorse, the American Professional II Stratocaster RW RST PIN, has received a number of useful upgrades: the neck/body transition is now bevelled like on the American Ultra, so that you can reach the last frets in the high registers without having to contort yourself. The neck has also been reworked: the fingerboard edges are rounded - no more sharp edges, and the Super Natural Satin finish on the back of the neck ensures optimum playability. A set of newly developed V-Mod II single coils provides a powerful, pearly sound. The body is made of resonant roasted pine.

Mal abgesehen davon, dass ich das Holz einfach hammer finde - ich bilde mir auch ein, dass es anders klingt. SetUp ab Werk ist sauber und super. Pickups sind ein Traum - solch ein wunderbar voller und perliger Sound. Der zuschaltbare Halspickup in Pos. 1 und 2 klingt sehr funky. Und SATIN - Neck! Das ist vom Spielgefühl und vom Halsprofil ein Traum. Spielt sich wie von selbst, klingt GANZ wunderbar und ist mit Koffer und Ausstattung einfach eine wunderbare Gitarre! Gibt es übrigens auch mit Ahorn-Neck… ;-)
