Les cerceaux de toutes les peaux sont légèrement trop grand. Ils rentrent dans l' élément de cerclage métallique , mais en forçant légèrement. Ce qui occasionne une difficulté pour la tension à cause d'une formation de plis en périphérie des surfaces de frappe. Cause probable : placement des peaux simple plis et double plis sur des cercles identiques. Après réglage fastidieux , la sonorité des peaux est excellente . Prévoir de fournir aussi le cerclage adéquat à ces peaux , correspondant au nombre de vis de tension sur les fûts pour obtenir une note de 5 *.
