The popular two-layer snare head from Evans, like all snare heads in the Genera series, is provided with the Evans well-known damping system. The already attacking sound of a two-layer head is amplified with the help of the damping ring. Small holes, so-called dry vents, were also worked into the edge of the head. As the name suggests, these make the snare sound drier. The optimal head especially for the heavy drummer.

Das Fell besticht durch einen sehr angenehmen direkten trockenen Sound. Durch die Ventile geht aber nicht der Klangraum / Volumen verloren wie ich finde. Akzente/Ghost notes sind gut hörbar. Es klingt gedämpft, aber sehr direkt ohne Volumenverlust. Ich verwende aktuell noch zwei Moon- Gel Pads näher bei einander (links und rechts neben 12Uhr), so kann ich die Höhen tiefer trimmen, habe aber dennoch einen schönen punchy sound. Mit diesem Fell brauche ich auch keinen Höhen-Dämpfring mehr. Alles in allem ein guter Kauf

Gemakkelijk te stemmen over een groot bereik. Speelt fijn en verminderd boventonen tot bijna niets.

Le son est super, la peau est facile à tendre comme il faut, pas besoin de muffler ou je ne sais quel accessoire, la peau est nickel telle qu'elle est. Le son est très bon, pour du Rock, Hard Rock, et Metal. Je recommande
