With the Original Les Paul series from the Inspired by Gibson collection, Epiphone brings another slice of authenticity closer to Gibson's vintage originals. Notable on the Les Paul Standard 50's Heritage Metallic Gold is the revised headstock, which matches the classic Epiphone headstock of the early '70s. The neck is shaped in a '59 Rounded C medium profile – a little beefier than the neck of the previous series. On board is a set of the proven Epiphone Probucker pickups. Epiphone has also upgraded the electronics: the pots are from the renowned manufacturer CTS and the wiring is executed in historically correct 50's wiring.
