The Broadway was Epiphones answer to Gibson archtops like the L-5 - a large hollowbody guitar with an arched top, single cutaway and humbucker pickups. The body of the Broadway consists of laminated maple for the back and sides, with a spruce top, finished in classic vintage sunburst. Even the hardware is based on the historic model: a floating bridge made of pau ferro and the iconic frequency tailpiece. A set of Epiphone Alnico Classic humbuckers provides warm, round "jazz box" sound.
