Engl raises the bar again – with the E670FE (Founders Edition) Special Edition 6L6, the aim was to create the ultimate high-gain amp – which, as expected, the Engl team has done with flying colors. Engl founder and mastermind Edmund Engl has incorporated all of his experience and know-how into this amp. But now to the facts: the E670FE offers no fewer than 5 (!) channels – from crystal-clear clean to brutal high gain. But that's not all: 9 different voicings can be selected, with the clean and crunch channels as well as lead I and lead II each sharing a common 3-band EQ. The Engl-standard switchable master A and B as well as presence A and B controls are on board, and an integrated noise gate that can be activated by foot ensures silence even during an absolute high-gain storm. The extensive features are rounded off by 3 FX loops (1 x serial, 2 x serial/parallel switchable), MIDI, reverb and the proven Power Tube Monitor.
