The EMG GZR-P pickup is the result of a collaboration between Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler and EMG. Geezer Butler wanted a precision bass type pickup that reproduces the powerful sound of a P-Bass pickup from the early 70s, as heard on old Black Sabbath recordings.
