The Electro Harmonix Canyon was already a real hit, but EHX is going one better: now comes the Grand Canyon. This effects pedal is a real delay workstation, with 12 delay types available: Echo - 24-bit digital delay, Modulation - the delay trail is enriched with modulation (choose from flanger, chorus, vibrato, warble, etc. ), Multi Tap Delay - nested echoes, Reverse Delay - the good old backwards echo, DMM - the classic EHX Memory Man analog delay with its characteristic lo-fi sound, Tape - classic tape echo with simulation of wow and flutter and worn out tape heads, Reverb - a mixture of plate reverb and echo (can also be used without echo as a pure reverb preset! ), Pitch - the echo repeats are sent through a polyphonic pitch shifter, Shimmer - the popular shimmer effect, the echo/reverb tail is shifted in pitch, ideal for ambient sounds, sample & hold creates rhythmic patterns, drum simulation of the legendary Binson Echorec drum delay with cool, nested echo patterns, double - the input signal is doubled and converted into a stereo signal, and finally an independent, full-fledged looper with up to 16 minutes of recording time. Echo and looper can be used simultaneously, and your own effect creations can be stored in 13 user memory locations. Various parameters (programmable per preset) can be controlled remotely using an expression pedal.
