The 16" body is made of laminated curly maple, and the top is made of solid spruce! The maple/ebony neck has a traditional even "C" profile. The hardware and electronics are also top-notch: Gotoh tuners, an adjustable ebony bridge, and a stylish ebony/brass tailpiece. A Seymour Duncan SH-2 N pickup provides characteristic jazz sound. The whole thing is finished in a tasteful honeyburst.

The guitar workshop Eastman Guitars has its origins in the company Eastman Strings. Eastman Strings was founded in 1992 by Qian Ni in Beijing and originally started with the handcrafted production of high-quality violins, violas, cellos and double basses. Because the traditional craftsmanship and the resulting instruments are still highly valued today, the workshop quickly expanded its range to include acoustic, semi-acoustic and fully solid guitars.
