Duesenberg Lapsteel Kalico Tobacco Burst

Product information "Duesenberg Lapsteel Kalico Tobacco Burst"

The Duesenberg Kalico, with its stylish Art Deco appearance, strongly evokes the classic lap steel guitars of the 1930s and 40s. But don’t be fooled by the looks — Duesenberg has come up with genuine innovations to greatly expand the limited possibilities of a 6-string lap steel. The Multibender bridge lets you trigger pedal-steel-style bends comfortably with your palm, and another highlight is the Easy Shift capo, which lets you realise alternative tunings in seconds. The electronics are impressive too: a Duesenberg SplitKing humbucker for powerful humbucker and authentic single-coil tones.

About Duesenberg

Duesenberg Guitars was founded in 1995 by Dieter Gölsdorf in Hanover. The manufacturer's beautiful guitars draw on the 1940s and 1950s and the Art Deco era. The electric guitar model Starplayer was the first offering and still ranks among the company's bestsellers today. But the instruments are not based on nostalgia alone: innovative parts such as the comfortable Z-Tuners, the third pickup mounting screw on the pickup frame to allow the pickup to be precisely aligned with the strings, or the Duesenberg Deluxe Tremola set them apart.
