The DDP-200 is a simple, high-quality digital piano that fits into most homes. Compared with an acoustic piano it takes up little space and weight, and it features a lovely Nordic design using attractive wood.
It can do pretty much everything an acoustic piano can do (and more). And it only needs a power socket, because it has a built-in amplifier and 2 speakers.
It has 88 weighted keys, making it ideal for all kinds of pianists – whether you are just starting out and want to learn on real weighted keys, or you are an experienced pianist who wants an acoustic-style keyboard. The stylish keyboard is well protected by the attached cover when you’re not playing.
The DDP-200 features several useful and practical functions that make it ideal for use in a normal household.
Unlike an acoustic piano, you can adjust the volume on the built-in, very good-sounding speakers. If you want to play quietly without disturbing others, you can connect headphones so the DDP-200 is completely silent for everyone except you. The sound module and the quality of the 6 built-in sounds are so good that the DDP-200 also sounds fantastic through a good pair of headphones.

The keyboard
The DDP-200 features a fully weighted hammer-action keyboard with 88 keys that very accurately simulates the sound of an acoustic piano and responds precisely to the force with which you play. That makes it a great digital piano that can replace an acoustic upright or grand – whether you’re a beginner or an experienced pianist, and whether you want to entertain, teach or learn at home. The keyboard is on the lighter side in terms of weight, so you can play quickly, precisely and for long periods without tiring your fingers.
Advanced sound module and built-in speakers
The DDP-200’s sound module is based on the latest technology, so you can expect top-class sounds from the DDP-200. There are 6 built-in tones, with a focus on a very beautiful and realistic grand piano sound and a convincing stage-piano sound, but you can also enjoy, for example, a nice organ and strings. Finally, there are 5 types of reverb available that can give a great sound the final polish.
The sound module also offers 128-note polyphony. No matter how complex the music you play is, or how often you use the 3 pedals, you will never run short when it comes to giving your piano playing a wide dynamic range – from very subtle and restrained to very powerful and dramatic.
Of course, the high-quality built-in sounds are reproduced excellently by a powerful amplifier system and 2 speakers of 15 W each, mounted in a smart "floating" cabinet that distributes the sound around the room where the piano stands.
If you want to play in a quiet environment, you can plug headphones into the DDP-200’s headphone-optimised output to get the best possible listening experience.
Compatible and with Bluetooth
The DDP-200 is compatible with both iOS and Android devices via Bluetooth and features a USB output, so you can use it for self-study, composition or teaching via online courses or apps. You can also connect it to music production software on a computer and make great-sounding recordings or play back the many sounds typically available in such software.
