In 1971, David Blackmer founded the company dbx = David Blackmer Experience. Since then, the dbx brand has been synonymous with signal processing at the highest level. Over the past decades, dbx has developed groundbreaking VCA innovations and registered more than 25 patents. The dbx 215 is a two-channel constant Q, 2/3 octave equaliser with 20 mm fader. The adjustable frequency range is 20 Hz - 20 kHz in accordance with the ISO standard.
The input level can be adjusted by +/- 12 db using the input gain control. A switchable Bessel filter with 12 db/octave at 50 Hz acts as a low cut. The setting range of the faders can be adjusted from +/- 6 db to +/- 12 db. The dynamic range is over 108 db. The RF-filtered inputs and outputs are designed in parallel on XLR and jack, either balanced or unbalanced. The level at the output is indicated by four LEDs. A clip LED signals clipping within the EQ.

Unschlagbares Preis / Leistungsverhältnis
Ein einfacher Equalizer ohne viel "Geschnörkel". Sehr gute Verarbeitungsqualität mit festen Reglern und hellen LEDs. Der Klang ist für meine Zwecke hervorragend (Nachbearbeitung von Stimmaufnahmen mit einem Fieldrecorder).Ich vermisse bei dem Gerät allerdings einen Ein- und Ausschalter.
