Space Charged is the first true tube overdrive pedal from Crazy Tube Circuits in Athens. A 12AY7 preamp tube is powered by a standard 9V DC power supply and an internal voltage multiplier. It delivers a warm, organic tube tone with excellent response and a wide range of tube tones from thick, full-bodied, clean boost to authentic, classic rock distortion. Space Charged is designed to perform optimally with a 12AY7 tube, but standard dual triodes such as 12AX7, 12AT7, 12AU7, 5751 can also be tried for different flavour and overdrive/distortion characteristics.
