The Dutch guitarist and YouTube guitar teacher visited the decommissioned and never-commissioned Zwentendorf nuclear power plant in Austria and was fascinated by the unique reverb sounds in the huge halls, cooling towers and even the reactor area. In collaboration with the Italian effects house Cornerstone, the Nucleo pedal was created — a different kind of reverb pedal for generating unique, intense reverb soundscapes. The reverb tail can be modulated and pitched for floating, infinite shimmer reverb sounds. The names of the three reverb algorithms speak for themselves: Room - emulates the plant's control room; Hall - the sound of the cooling tower; and Reactor - the reactor chamber. On board is a Freeze function that can be held with the footswitch — the reverb bed essentially freezes and newly played notes are not reverberated.
