For the S/PDIF digital interface cable CPDS CC the (word clock) bulk cable CDS 122 is used (7x 0.20 mm conductor construction, conductor cross-section of 0.22 mm², 75 Ohm characteristic impedance).
The conical, gold-plated RCA connectors are from REAN made by Neutrik®. It is used in studio, DJ and consumer electronics applications and serves as a low-loss connection between digital devices.
The S/PDIF standard and word clock require a characteristic impedance of 75 Ohm, AES/EBU 110 Ohm. Only then is digital audio transmission over cable free from interference. The CPDS CC is precisely matched to meet these requirements.
