The CFM VK is a balanced extension cable for 6.35 mm stereo jacks, for example as a headphone extension. The two hand-soldered REAN® by NEUTRIK® plugs are protected from damage by an overmoulded strain-relief sleeve, and the contacts are gold-plated to protect against corrosion.
The bulk cable used, with a conductor cross-section of 0.22 mm² consisting of 28 x 0.10 mm strands of high-purity copper, ensures uncoloured signal transmission. Spiral shielding protects against disruptive external interference and prevents noise, for example from power supplies or mains cables.
