... Für den Preis sicher ordentlich, mehr aber auch nicht. Wenig dynamisch, beim Zurückdrehen des Volumepotis wird's arg dunkel im Sound. Kann mit dem Okko Dominator nicht im entferntesten mithalten. Klar, der ist deutlich teurer, aber auch deutlich besser. Deswegen ist der nun auf meinem Board, der andere ging zurück nach Panama... Das Leben ist zu kurz für mittelmäßige Pedale, oder? ;-)
This is a Plexi monster. May be somewhat fizzlier than its yellow brother, plexitone but there is a dampening and tone control so there are no major limits to this. All from early AC/DC to Megadeth.
Clean-Kanal des Verstärkers; Panama anschliessen; Gain und Damping auf 14, Level auf 11 und Tone auf ca. 13 und los geht's...Wow! Das klingt wirklich nach der ersten VH-Platte. Wirklich beeindruckend. Dieses Gerät hat auch enorme Gain Reserven und komprimiert enorm in den höheren Gängen. Bei entsprechend reduziertem Gain klingts nach SRV. Auch sehr schön. Für Spieler mit wenig Gain-Bedarf ist dieses Pedal wohl eher nicht geeignet. Für Fans der Hardrock-Sounds der späten 70er und 80er um so mehr.
