Bourgeois Guitars OM - Style 42 HS Adirondack Madagascar

Product information "Bourgeois Guitars OM - Style 42 HS Adirondack Madagascar"

With the Heirloom Series models, American master luthier Bourgeois Guitars honours the classics of steel-string acoustic guitars. The Style 42 OM is a tribute to one of the most famous and beloved OM models in history. It features a classic tonewood pairing of a spruce top and a rosewood body. The top of American red spruce (Adirondack spruce) contributes to a more voluminous tonal character and offers a quicker response than, for example, a Sitka spruce top. Madagascar Rosewood, used for the body, displays a more pronounced and intense grain figure than Indian Rosewood and is therefore highly prized. The ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish allows the sound of the Bourgeois Guitars Heirloom Style 42 OM to fully develop and, thanks to the slightly more compact body size, it particularly shines in fingerstyle playing.
