Product information "Bourgeois Guitars OM CountryBoy Touchstone"
The Touchstone series is a collaboration between Bourgeois Guitars and the Eastman Music Company. After the Touchstone tops have been personally inspected by Dana Bourgeois, they are vacuum-sealed and shipped to Eastman’s workshop, where a select group of Eastman’s finest luthiers—carefully trained in the tonal philosophy and construction methods of Bourgeois Guitars—integrate the tops into Dana Bourgeois designs, breathing life into each guitar.
The latest member of the Bourgeois Touchstone family is based on one of the most successful models ever to come out of the Lewiston shop — the Country Boy. This vintage-inspired workhorse is handcrafted to offer players the finest attention to detail, tone and playability. With its warm, clear voice, the brand-new Touchstone Country Boy delivers an impressive dynamic range suitable for both emerging and professional players. The Touchstone Country Boy is built from some of the finest tonewoods in its class and features a one-piece Honduran mahogany neck, Honduran mahogany back and sides, and a hand-crafted top of old-growth Sitka spruce from Dana Bourgeois’ own woodlot.
Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just beginning your journey to the main stage, the Touchstone Country Boy finally makes the impressive boutique playing experiences that were once reserved for a few available to many.

The company Bourgeois Guitars is renowned for the handcrafted production of steel-string acoustic guitars of the highest calibre. All instruments belong to the absolute premium segment. Dana Bourgeois founded Bourgeois Guitars in 1992 after he developed a passion for learning about and building high-quality guitars while studying at Bowdoin College in Maine. He built his own guitars in the early 1970s and opened a small shop in Maine in 1977, where he worked as a luthier and repairer.
Over the years Bourgeois Guitars has earned an outstanding reputation, as the company places great emphasis on genuine craftsmanship and an excellent tone. Only first-rate, carefully selected materials are used for the instruments, because quality always comes first. The brand also impresses with its variety, offering guitarists many different models to choose from, including dreadnoughts, OM models, jumbos and more. Bourgeois guitars are not simply acoustic guitars, but lovingly crafted works of art.
