The company Bourgeois Guitars is renowned for the handcrafted production of steel-string acoustic guitars of the highest calibre. All instruments belong to the absolute premium segment. Dana Bourgeois founded Bourgeois Guitars in 1992 after he developed a passion for learning about and building high-quality guitars while studying at Bowdoin College in Maine. He built his own guitars in the early 1970s and opened a small shop in Maine in 1977, where he worked as a luthier and repairer.

Over the years Bourgeois Guitars has earned an outstanding reputation, as the company places great emphasis on genuine craftsmanship and an excellent tone. Only first-rate, carefully selected materials are used for the instruments, because quality always comes first.
