With the SDE-3000 Dual Delay, Boss has breathed new life into a real cult effects unit from the 80s. The legendary Roland SDE-3000 was the first storable digital delay. The 1U rack unit impressed with its round, warm sound, lavish features and long delay times. Boss packed this effects icon twice into a compatible floor pedal enclosure and gave the legendary circuit some updates such as MIDI. The SDE-3000 can still be found today in numerous racks of the top guitarist league - Steve Lukather, Steve Vai, The Edge and of course Eddie van Halen are a very good reference. The modulation section of the current Boss SDE has been significantly expanded; instead of the meagre 8 memory slots of the original, 100 memory slots can now be filled with your own creations. Other important features are a MIDI interface (mini TRS), spillover effect when changing presets, footswitch connection for tap tempo and hold. The compact housing contains 2 complete SDE-3000 circuits, allowing itensive serial or parallel routings to be realised. Editor software for Mac and PC is available for download.
