With the RC-505MKII loop station, Roland is launching the successor to the popular RC-505. Whether for live or studio applications, for beat boxers or multi-instrumentalists. With its 5 separate stereo tracks, the RC-505MKII offers plenty of scope. The new 32-bit sound engine promises improved sound quality even with many overdubs. The newly designed 45mm faders are not only easier to grip, but also offer more accurate volume control. The expanded Input FX and Track FX sections each offer 4 effects and 4 Quick Access banks. The onboard effects include 49 Input FX, 53 Track FX and 2 Master FX types. The memory contains up to 99 phrases with 5 tracks each. The maximum recording time is approx. 1.5 hours per track and approx. 13 hours in total. In addition, 200 integrated rhythm patterns and 16 drum kits are available. External control is possible via MIDI or via an optional foot switch or expression pedal.
