Jared has been playing a St. James 50 EL34H live alongside his JJN 20 since its release, and his new signature amp is based on that platform. In close collaboration with Jared, Blackstar opened up the St. James amp's top end to allow a wider frequency range to pass. Blackstar also built in a unique Blues Power circuit that drives the amp into overdrive with rich overtones and harmonics. The JJN 50 features a 3-way power switch that selects the operating mode of the tube output stage. The amp is also equipped with a reactive attenuator and, with Cab Rig technology, guitarists have access to state-of-the-art cabinet, speaker and room simulations. The JJN 50 ships with three CabRig patches developed by Blackstar and Jared. Each amp is supplied with a Jared-hand-signed certificate of authenticity and some cool JJN collectibles.
