Back in 2008 BLACKSTAR's HT-5 amplifier paved the way for low-wattage amps that are especially suited to home and studio use. With the HT-5RH MkIII BLACKSTAR goes a step further and introduces new features such as USB-C recording and BLACKSTAR's Cabrig speaker simulation, which allows you to choose between 100 different cabinet, microphone, microphone-placement and room settings. These settings can be saved and stored in 3 presets that can be recalled directly from the amp. The patented ISF control provides American, British and a wide range of tones in between. By reducing the power from 5W to 0.5W the amp sounds convincing even at low volumes. Together with two footswitchable channels and two Voice switches the amp offers two Clean and two Overdrive sounds. A USB-C port enables connection to a computer for recording.
